You may be eligible to receive money from an employee class action lawsuit (“Action”) against Episcopal Community Services and Episcopal Community Services of San Francisco (“Defendants”) for alleged wage and hour violations. The Action was filed by former employees Dachelle Taylor-Bennett, Ebony Battle, and Clarence Nash (“Plaintiffs”) and seeks payment of (1) back wages and other relief for a class of hourly employees (“Class Members”) who worked for Defendants during the “Class Period” (April 20, 2018 through June 9, 2023) and (2) penalties under the California Private Attorneys General Act (“PAGA”) for all hourly employees who worked for Defendants during the “PAGA Period” (April 20, 2021 to June 9, 2023) (“Aggrieved Employees”). Collectively, Plaintiffs and Defendants are referred to as the “Parties.”
